For many years television shows have been featuring music during episodes. Today, more than
ever, TV shows are featuring commercial music. To the point where some bands have even become
popular simply due to the fact that their song was featured in a tv show. This explosion of
music in television shows has often left viewers asking: "how can I find the song I just heard
on that tv show?", "Who sings that song at the of the episode ?", "how do I find music in tv
shows ?" or "what was the song from that tv show ?". Trying to remember a few lyrics sometimes
just isn't enough to identify the song you heard on a television show. That is why TV Show Songs
is here.It is a ressource to help you find songs that played during your favorite television shows and
to offer you ways to download them or just to give you the satisfaction of knowing what the
song is.
The website was created a few years ago after noticing a serious lack in ressources for tv show
song identification. Finding songs from tv shows was very frustrating. Sure there was a
forum here and a fan site there listing songs from certain shows and episodes but those were
few and far between. There were - and still are - user-generated sites that post music listings
for shows however those are often unreliable and innacurate and thus very frustrating when
trying to find the name of a song you heard on tv. TV Show Songs became the first non-user
generated tv show song music guide entirely dedicated to song and music identification as heard
on television shows. That being said, users are still an important part of identifying music
on tv shows and we still ask for your input. However before posting any new song information,
we try to make sure all information is accurate to make finding music from television shows an
easy thing to do for all of us.
For each television show we list, we provide the information regarding the tv show theme song,
the tv show soundtracks and a complete tv music guide to each episode. That way you have
complete access to all of the music and songs from each tv show. While our database is still
growing and we receive many requests for new show additions, we try to concentrate on the most
popular television shows and the shows that regularly feature music in their episodes. If we
do not list the show or song you are looking for, please join our newly created tv song
identification forums and ask about it there. Our goal is to be able to provide an answer to
each tv song or tv music question you have.
We also receive alot of requests for posting TV commercial music. While we do not list TV commercial
songs in our database, we have created a forum for those who are looking for songs on TV commercials.
